John Roan

Originally from Knoxville, John has practiced law in the greater Chattanooga area since 2008. He graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science while minoring in General Business. He is also a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.

Prior to joining Tom Bible Law, John served as Managing Attorney for the Tennessee office of a national law firm with concentrations in financial services and real estate. John’s primary areas of practice are bankruptcy, foreclosure defense, real estate, and general civil litigation. He is licensed to practice law in Arkansas and Tennessee, and is admitted to practice before all U.S. District Courts within those states. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Chattanooga Bar Association, the Knoxville Bar Association, and the Debtor-Creditor Bar of Central Arkansas.

John and his wife are members of Christ United Methodist Church in Chattanooga. When he isn’t zealously advocating for his clients, John enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching Tennessee football, and taking his Labrador Retriever for long walks. He is a Vol for Life (VFL) who truly loves living in the Tennessee Valley.
